Bridge2Calais Final Drop Off Sessions For Clothing And Essentials To Help Refugees
Guernsey charity publishes final list of essentials it needs before final drop off sessions at 7dayselfstore ahead of taking donations to help refugees in Calais.
Bridge2Calais organiser Sarah Griffith has also appealed for volunteers to pack vans before they set off from Guernsey for the French port of Calais, where many refugees are living, on 9 November.
Here at 7dayselfstore, we decided to donate a unit to the team to do our bit to help so they can collect and sort out donations.
But there’s only a few days left before the last drop-off session at 7dayselfstore on the Pitronnerie Road industrial estate in St Peter Port, Guernsey, for clothing and other essentials requested by Bridge2Calais team.
Final donation drop-off times
Wednesday 4 November – 10am – 12noonFriday 6 November – 3 – 5pm
Saturday 7 November – 3-5pm
Bridge 2 Calais has also appealed for as many as volunteers as possible to load up the vans between 10am and 1pm on Sunday 8 November.
